Catherine Leigh Henley (née Smith), widely known as Constanze of the all-female pop/rock/soul band (the) Reveries was born on June 8, 19XX in Beaufort, KY. The daughter of a horse trainer and a homemaker, she was their second child and after an older brother. The family is primarily of Scotch-Irish descent.
Reveries, in which she played keyboard and provided backing vocals, scored three hit albums in the 20-teens — Reveries, California Sun, and Trinity. “Cat” starred opposite Thierry George in indie rom-dram “Getting Along,” his breakout role. Two years late, after her solo debut album received lukewarm reviews, she became the first client of the anonymous haute couture collective, i0, in which she is still a frequent, philanthropic collaborator. Her music career still has a substantial following in the Europe and Japan.
Smith married Richard Henley, a Berlin, Germany-based employee of the US Department of State, in 201X. Today, Cat Henley is probably just as well known as dog mom to cairn terrier seesaw influencer Sgt. Beefheart, of Hearty Pup dog food commercial fame. She has been suggested as a possible awards season pick for Thierry George’s directorial debut, the Chinese history drama “Sacred Mountain.”
